Love the Opportunity by Jim
Rohn
Somebody said you have to love what you do, but that's
not necessarily true. What is true is that you have to love
the opportunity. The opportunity to build life, future,
health, success and fortune. Knocking on someone's door may not
be something you love to do, but you love the opportunity of
what might be behind that door.
For example, a guy says,
"I'm digging ditches. Should I love digging ditches?" The answer
is, "No, you don't have to love digging ditches, but if it is
your first entry onto the ladder of success, you say, 'I'm glad
somebody gave me the opportunity to dig ditches and I'm going to
do it so well, I won't be here long.'"
You can be inspired
by having found something even though you are making mistakes in
the beginning and even though it is a little distasteful taking
on a new discipline that you haven't learned before. You don't
have to love it, you just have to learn to appreciate America,
appreciate opportunity and appreciate the person who brought you
the good news; that found you.
Appreciate the person who
believed in you before you believed in yourself, appreciate the
person who said, "Hey, if I can do it, you can do it."
If
you will embrace the disciplines associated with the
new opportunity you will soon find that your self-confidence
starts to grow, that you go from being a skeptic to being a
believer. And soon when you go out person to person, talking to
people, you will find it to be the most thrilling opportunity in
the world. Every person you meet - what could it
be? Unlimited! Maybe a friend for life. The next person could be
an open door to retiring. The next person could be a colleague
for years to come. It's big time stuff. And sometimes in the
beginning when we are just getting started we don't always see
how big it is.
So, before you are tempted to give up or get
discouraged, remember all success is based on long term
commitment, faith, discipline, attitude and a few stepping stones
along the way. You might not like the stone you are on right now,
but it's sure to be one of the stones that lead to great
opportunities in the future.

Guide To Free
Advertising by: Rebecca Gilbert
When I first started my internet home business, I realized that
in order to make money I would have to bring visitors to my website.
I didn't have a lot of extra cash laying around, and my mentality at
the time was "Why would I pay for it, when I can get it for free"?
So, I starting searching the internet for places that would accept
an ad for my product for free. I was very happy to find literally
thousands of sites willing to accept my ad.
As the weeks went by I worked hard and learned a lot. The phrase
that comes to mind when I think back is, "you get what you pay for".
I was placing ads on the internet every free moment I got and was
getting very little results. Not being one to quite, I figured I
would move on to another form of advertising or figure out what I
was doing wrong with the free advertising.
As soon as I placed my ad, I would go back and look at it. I
expected my ad to be at the top of the list since I had just placed
it. Much to my surprise, my ad was listed down the list a little
way. I realized that at the very moment that I was placing my ad,
others were doing the same. And as each person placed an ad, mine
moved further down the list. In my infinite wisdom... I realized
that potential visitors would probably not search past the first
page before choosing a product.
So then I decided that I would go into that site and place my ad
every few hours. This way I knew it would always stay close to the
top of the page, and hopefully be viewed by a potential customer.
How right I was!!! Eventually, I had my first customer and had made
my first sale on the internet! What a feeling! I was ready to take
the internet by storm...
The week ran into the weekend, and I continued in the same way
with my free ad campaign...and no luck. Several weeks went by were I
was getting visitors and making sales through the week, and none on
the weekend. Are you seeing a pattern here? I sure did. I soon
discovered through statistical data that I pulled up from a search
engine that the internet traffic on the weekend is super low
compared to the weekdays. I also learned that the internet traffic
is at its peak around the noon hour in the US.
From that day forward, I didn't waste my time advertising on the
weekends. Instead, I would sit down around 11:00 a.m. every morning
and run as many free ads as was humanly possible. I could just about
plan each day at noon that I could get a potential customer,
affiliate, sale.
I'm also a firm believer in the phrase "work smarter, not
harder". It didn't take me long to figure out that I could utilize
copy and paste and run the same ad in every category that it
applied. I also used the back button on my browser a lot. Most of
the time by using the back button, all my information was still
there and I could just choose a different category.
It wasn't long before I had several paying customers and was
bringing in a small monthly income from my small internet business.
I often try to teach this method to my members who cannot to pay for
advertising to start out with...without much luck unfortunately.
Many will not sacrifice their time to this extent, or they will run
one ad on the internet and expect to get up the next morning and be
a millionaire.
For those of you who don't have the money to invest, you will
HAVE to invest your TIME. How much is your time worth? Many are
drawing 6-figure incomes from the internet within 2-5 years. The
internet has made more millionaires from the average Joe than any
other vessel in history. Is 2-5 years a hard pill to swallow? It
shouldn't be. How many of you are going to work your nine to five
job for 40-50 years and have nothing to show for it?
Am I still running free ads? No, I'm not. I took my very first
paycheck that I earned from free advertising and put it back into
paid advertising. I can reach a vast number of customers with paid
ads with no effort on my part at all. Instead, my time has been
filled with teaching others to do as I have done, and building my
own business day by day.
Not a day has gone by in the last year and a half where I have
not built onto my business. I started out running free ads, then I
moved on to paid ads, ppc's, email lists, enzine ads, then I built
and optimized my own website, got link partners, got listed with the
search engines, etc...
If you want to turn your life around and live without any
financial constraints, then the internet is the place to be. All it
will take is patience, persistence and the will to succeed on your
part.
Best Wishes for your future success and prosperity!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Gilbert http://www.101homebusiness.org

Getting The
Most From Your Existing Customers. by: Dan Brown
Business on the Net is a fast paced proposition. Net
entrepreneurs are looking for the edge that will take their business
to the next level. Who doesn't want more business, right? Here's a
simple yet POWERFUL idea for increasing your income.
As business people we look at many propositions that will help us
take that next, much desired growth step. We hear that we must
"brand" ourselves and be easy to do business with. The list of ideas
goes on and on.
THE GOLD MINE IN YOUR BACKYARD
Many people overlook how hard (and expensive) it is to create a
new customer. Yet, we focus most of our time and energy in just this
area, thinking that if we just could get more customers we would
achieve our goals. But what about getting more OUT OF your
customers?
If you have been around for a while you have a customer list.
That list is GOLD. Please understand that I am NOT talking about
renting out your customer list of email addresses. What I AM talking
about it approaching those customers, who know you and trust you
already, with a totally new and different product.
Why should we limit ourselves to selling only one type of product
or service when by adding an additional item to our current
offerings we can TAKE ADVANTAGE of the relationship that exists now?
Will your customers resent this move? Not if you do it with some
style.
HOW TO DO IT
One of the keys is to choose a product or service that
COMPLIMENTS what you already do. Whatever your product or service
is, think through what your customer is likely to buy based upon
purchasing your product.
If you sell shoes, someone is going to sell them socks and it
might as well be you. Not only will you increase your revenue but
you will encounter less sales resistance and show your customers
that you are thinking of them.
Another method is to choose a product or service that CONTRASTS
what you sell now. If you normally sell a business related product
come back at them with a personal product. Why should they NOT buy
it from you? You have proven yourself as honest and dependable; now
cash in on that hard work.
DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK
One final word. Your customers decided to trust you when they
bought what you sell. Capitalize on those good feelings and ask them
for their feedback on what you have in mind. This is by far the most
powerful, yet virtually free, market research available in the land.
Use it wisely and your XISTING CUSTOMERS will tell you both what
they want to buy and when they want to buy it.
All you have to do then is step up, fill the need, and go to the
bank.
“How To Use Ezine
Articles To Promote Any Product, Service, or Affiliate Program You
Choose in 5 Easy Steps by: Henri Schauffler
Do you have a great affiliate program or website all ready to go,
waiting for the customers to come? Are your family and friends
getting anxious, waiting for your new project to start breaking
through? Then be sure to print out this article and follow the step
by step plan perfectly...
For years, smart marketers have been using ezine articles to Rake
in enormous traffic to any site of their choosing. But many of us
have felt it impossible to get into this lucrative marketing area,
for varied reasons such as lack of know how or a feeling of
uncertainty as to writing ability.
At the end of this article, I'm going to offer you some resources
to end the mystery and make this mega marketing strategy as simple
as 1-2-3-4-5. But first, let's take a look at how ezine article
marketing works.
Ill bet you can't tell me the best way to use ezine articles to
promote your offer. Go ahead. Give it your best shot. Out loud. Say
it. Whatever comes to mind, just blurt it out.
I'm listening.
You see, most folks don't really understand how to BEST use ezine
articles to promote a product or service, or their favorite
affiliate program.
They know they are supposed to write an article, include some
kind of clever offer in the text or in their resource box, and
convince editors to publish their article.
But, there is a *very* clever way to use your article to promote
like you've never seen before.
There are five simple steps...
Step 1: Choose the product or service you want to promote. Now,
we're not talking about your newsletter -- we're talking about an
actual offer you want to present that you'll earn profits from when
readers of your article make a purchase.
Step 2: Determine your "useful, but incomplete" approach. I love
to use what I have coined as the "useful, but incomplete" approach
when using freebies of any kind. (Ezine articles, free eBooks,
reports, eCourses, etc.)
What I mean by that is simply this: You provide your reader with
"useful" information (something they find of value and are able to
actually apply) but make certain that it is "incomplete" in that
they can better use the information by making a purchase.
That's "useful, but incomplete." And it works like a charm.
Let me give you an example:
I wanted to promote Getresponse.com in a free ezine article. This
is a service that offers unlimited autoresponders, tracking and all
kinds of other stuff for one low price.
How could I use an ezine article to promote the service?
By writing an article that explains how to benefit from using
autoresponders or mailing lists, of course! My article explains
different uses of autoresponders and how the reader can profit from
implementing the ideas.
And, naturally, they will need an autoresponder service in order
to put the ideas into practice, right?
And I just happen to know of a great service they can use. :o)
Step 3: Turn your approach into a tips list or tutorial. Let's
use my example again. I decided that I would describe various uses
of autoresponders and how the reader can actually profit from them.
What kind of tips list or tutorial could I create?
"How to Generate More Subscribers, Sales and Profits With
Automated Follow-Up Messages"
"7 Powerful And Profitable Ways To Use Autoresponders To
Skyrocket Your Sales and Subscribers!
"Want to Increase Your Online Profits And Leads? Here are 7 Ways
to Do It..."
I actually went with the middle title. I wrote my list of the 7
ideas that I wanted to share. And I had the makings of a perfect
article to promote an offer.
That's all you need to do. Determine your end result. Decide how
to get there with your "useful, but incomplete" approach. And then
develop a list, or even a step-by-step tutorial for your article
that leads the reader along.
Step 4: Expand on each point to build your content. Here's more
of the easy part. Just "fill-in-the-blanks" to complete your
article. Write 1-2 short paragraphs for each of your points. Make
them good. Provide quality content. The offer you will soon make
will see poor results if your information isn't useful.
Light a fire in your readers. Motivate them. Challenge them. Give
them such nuggets of gold that they want to keep mining until they
hit the mother lode!
Step 5: Put on the finishing touches with the "five pillars."
There are five things that you should always do to finish up your
ezine article. Don't skip any of them. They are all critical...
A. Polish. Re-read your article. Does it provide information that
really is "useful" to the reader? And yet leaves them wanting even
more? That's what you want.
B. Promote. Use your resource box to promote your offer. This is
why we've written the article, right? Remember step one? It's time
to put it into play. Give the reader what they (hopefully) are
wanting...a way to maximize the information you gave them.
C. Proof. Don't do this yourself. Have a trusted friend, relative
or co-worker check your article for grammatical and typographical
errors.
D. Publish. Zip your new article out to your favorite list of
publishers. Submit it to the announcement lists and the ezine
directories.
E. Profit. If you've covered all the bases that I've mentioned,
then profits are almost certain to start coming in when your ezine
article is published. You deserve it. Be proud of your
accomplishments.
Thats it. Start submitting your article to ezines and article
directories and wait for the profits to roll in!

writing and formatting task, you ought to consider Jimmy Browns

What Is Drop
Shipping? The Perfect Solution by: Palyn
Peterson
Drop shipping one of the greatest business innovations since
products. Seriously, don't laugh! I'm not joking! With what other
service can you use another company's products, their warehouse,
their shipping department, and have them provide you with all the
information you need? Do you see what I mean now?
Every entrepreneur who is looking for the most efficient way to
sell products over the internet should be very enthusiastic about
drop shipping. It finally allows you to sell nearly anything you
want, be it computer equipment, toasters, billiard tables, even
planter pots, all without having any inventory. And do you know what
zero inventory means? It means less risk! The only time you ever buy
any products from the wholesaler is when you have already sold it to
a customer! And the best thing is (or should I say, another best
thing), the wholesaler packages it up and ships it out to the
customer for you, and usually your business name is on the box! As
far as the customer knows, you have a warehouse full of products.
When you sign up with a wholesaler, they will most likely ask you
for your tax license number, or a faxed/emailed copy of it to prove
you are a legitimate business. If they don't ask you for this, they
are either a very small wholesale company with a specific niche of
products and just want to make the process easy for their clients,
or they are not a real wholesaler at all.
If you ever come across a "wholesale" company that carries tons
of items, ranging from Barbie's to hair dryers, and they say that
you don't need to have a tax license to deal with them, then be very
skeptical, because 99 to 1, they aren't a wholesale company at all.
That sort of company will just take your order only to turn
around and order it from the real wholesale company at a much lower
cost than you paid for it (and they did have to get a tax license to
do this). It doesn't stop there either. Since you bought it at a
higher price, you will need to pass this on to your customers by
marking it up higher than you need to. And if you ever needed or
wanted to, you would have less margin when lowering your prices to
match or beat your competitors. And your competitors would probably
have a tax license, so they would be dealing with legitimate
wholesalers.
Seriously, be very careful about this, there are many wolves in
sheep's clothing out there. So skip the middleman, get your tax
license, get legitimate and you will save yourself a lot of grief
and money.
Once you make an account with a wholesaler, some will mail you a
wholesale catalog and price list in the mail with a CD full of
product images to use on your website. The smaller companies will
just allow you to copy the pictures and descriptions off their
website. With this product information, you can post the products to
your online store and wait for orders. It's as simple as that!
Then, when a customer places an order, you either call, email or
fax your contact at the wholesaler and give them the customers name,
address, and the items they want, including any other miscellaneous
information the wholesaler may want. The wholesaler then charges you
for the cost and shipping of the order at wholesale price, then
packages it up and sends it off to the customer. All you have left
to do is turn back around and charge the customers credit card for
the items with your profit margin markup.
The reason this is growing in popularity amongst wholesalers is
because they get to have many other companies market and sell their
products, thus reaching more people and selling greater volumes. The
wholesale company is still able to sell their products for the price
they want, and you get to keep the profit margin as a reseller. It's
a win/win situation.
Drop shipping is enabling the average person to be able to run a
successful, full service online retail store from the comfort of
their home. Zero inventory, no shipping department, only buy when
you have already sold -- this is the perfect affiliate program.

The
Three Main Powers Of Network Marketing by: Kirk
Bannerman
Network Marketing, 'MLM', and Multi Level Marketing are all terms
that refer to the same type of business model. This industry has had
more than it's share of scumbag crooks and con artists that have
used and abused the concept. However, if you do your homework and
get involved with a legitimate network marketing organization, this
business model has exceptional income potential.
Network Marketing can produce outstanding results if you know a
few simple concepts, the understanding of which is critical to your
success.
Network Marketing, MLM, and Multilevel Marketing are unlike
franchises or conventional businesses in that they take advantage of
all three of the important, yet misunderstood principles of:
- Leverage (of Time and Money)
- Residual Income
- Geometric Growth Through Duplication
Unfortunately these principles are not well understood by many of
the people that undertake network marketing. And that's just one of
many reasons why so many fail at network marketing. There are lots
of other reasons, and it would take volumes to cover them all. But
this is one of the more common ones. Because if you don't comprehend
and believe in these principles, it's impossible to help others
fully understand and appreciate them.
First, lets look at LEVERAGE:
Every successful person or business takes advantage of leverage.
There are only 24 hours in a day and no matter how talented you are
or how much you get paid per hour, if you don't take advantage of
leverage you're limited by the number of hours in a day. As a side
note, I have heard of cases where an occasional lawyer was billing
more than 24 hours per day…but, I guess that’s another story. By
learning to leverage your time, you can also benefit from a
percentage of other people's efforts, and dramatically increase your
income while creating more free time for yourself.
The unique and wonderful thing about the Network Marketing
business model is that everyone has the same opportunity to become
the 'owner' of his or her own business - with a fraction of the
investment of time and money of a franchise or traditional business.
In network marketing the people at the top definitely have a
vested interest in helping others on their team succeed.
Would you rather receive 100% of one person's efforts, or 5% of
the efforts of 100 people?
Obviously 100% of one is always only ONE. But 5% of 100 is FIVE.
Not only will the total result with leverage almost always be
amplified, but your income is not dependent on only one person. If
your income is produced by the activities of many, it is much more
dependable. Even if something unexpected or negative happens to one
or more of those people, it only has a minor effect on the total
production.
It's great to get paid while you're sleeping or away on vacation.
That's one of the many advantages of leveraging your time.
Now, lets consider RESIDUAL INCOME:
When someone mentions residual income many people automatically
think of actors or musicians.
Residual income is recurring income that you continue to receive
long after the work you've done to produce it has ended. There are
lots of ways to produce residual income. However, many people don't
understand it, and still others have never thought about or been
exposed to it.
A very simple example of residual income is interest earned on
money in the bank or investments. You continue to receive this
income without having to invest any more time to produce it.
Suppose you had the choice of doing a job and earning $1,000
once, or getting paid $50/month for the rest of your life…which
would you choose? If you chose the $50/month you obviously “get” the
concept of residual income.
Clearly, $50/month will surpass a single payment of $1,000
relatively quickly. And if it lasts for a few years, or better yet -
the rest of your life - it will really be a blessing.
Residual income is certainly not about "getting rich quickly",
even though with the right opportunity it's possible to produce a
substantial residual income stream in a relatively short time.
Most people who fail at network marketing either choose the wrong
network organization or just give up too soon and quit because they
expect overnight results. It is important to recognize that the real
beauty of residual income is on the back end, not the front, and
that once you build it you have the financial security and time
flexibility to do just about anything you desire for the rest of
your life!
Last, but not least, lets address GEOMETRIC GROWTH (DUPLICATION):
The classic illustration of geometric growth is the frequently
used penny-a-day example.
If you save one penny on the first day, and double it every
successive day, (day two you have 2 pennies and day three you have 4
pennies, and so on) how much will you have at the end of 30 days?
The answer, to the astonishment of many, is $5,368,708! Amazing,
but true.
That's a simple and dramatic illustration of how networking can
work. If I can teach you, I've doubled myself. If we each teach
someone else, we've doubled again. As this duplication or geometric
growth process goes on and on, it can produce some amazing results
in a relatively short period of time, just like the penny example
above.
So there you have it, understand and apply these three principles
- Leverage (of Time and Money)
- Residual Income
- Geometric Growth Through Duplication
and, given sufficient time and effort, you should enjoy a
successful and financially rewarding network marketing experience.
